Also, my ex is Korean, she and her friends (all Korean) thought the movie was garbage. Her friends didn't like MOS & really disliked Superman.

This pitch was soft-rebooting the DCEU and giving Superman an origin where he fully grew up on a Krypton that never blew up, a version of Kara’s life. I hope whatever fucked up thing in your life makes you act like this passes and you learn to be less annoying.

@didi3404 The studio posted on it because it sounded stupid. This is one instance where they actually made a smart decision. Keep in mind how the quality of the Kingsmen movies has gone down with every entry. And let's not forget how Vaughn wasted Henry Cavill, and a start cast in Argylle.

@restoreZSJL I never said MoS flopped. Far from it. MoS made 670 million world wide on a 225 million dollar budget. That’s definitely successful. It sold twice as many tickets because they cost less. The average ticket price in 2013 was around $8. In 2025 it was around $14.

I love how they say Snyders movie were flops but then say Gunns Superman was a success. It literally makes zero sense, seem as Man of Steel sold nearly twice as many tickets as Superman.

@restoreZSJL He’s made one movie and it wasn’t a flop. It made 618 million world wide on a 225 million budget. His Suicide Squad was definitely a failure due to all The negativity around the first one. Supergirl will the test for sure. The Snyderverse isn’t coming back.

But it's pretty unanimous that Grenn Lantern's suit in Superman was horrible and there is no Justice Gang and those costumes for GL and Hawkgirl were horrible and not 1:1 comic. Leave comic accuracy alone because Gunn is terrible at it.
