Speakin of whiskey:
If you can find this @natterjackirish , give it a go, especially if you're keen on Irish whiskey as I am.

@KwikWarren These were great times. There’s probably three different families at that table.

This looks like a scene at my maternal grandparents house. My older brother and I had aunts and uncles who were basically slightly older children we grew up with…and my grandmother was one of the best cooks in history!
Marie🧚@glitchu__
A whole lot of yall didn’t get raised like this so I get it‼️
English

@notcapnamerica Wifey and I are going to a 7:30 show today. Yeap he got my $ 😂.
English

@MarMarLabs @KalamCenter @grok Am I missing something? Wouldn't you just move the stick from far right to far left and make 173?
English

@KalamCenter Move the single matchstick in the end in front of the 7, to make it 173🤷🏾♂️.

I just left Costco and I feel like an idiot...
The people in front of me bought $1,200 in top shelf alcohol, cases of redbull, and steaks.
They split it up and paid for the steaks and redbull with EBT, and then pulled out a giant wad of $100 bills to pay for the alcohol in cash.
WTF am I doing with my life??? I haven't bought steak in years - I haven't bought alcohol in decades. Too expensive. On the rare occasion we eat out, I buy the cheapest thing on the menu.
Yet these people can just casually drop thousands of dollars of my tax money on things I can't even afford?? Just to drive home to a taxpayer funded house nicer than I live in.
We are completely destroyed as a society.

@MarcWatkinsEsq @natterjackirish @RileeDHarrison @MarkThatLawGuy @GsuGrinding @investigatormc @AdamPardonMe @thatlawyerLisa I’m going to try. With my daughter in law school in DC (UDC) it might be a good time to visit her😂.

I plan to go see #TheOdyssey #TheOdysseyMovie #TheOdysseyFilm this weekend cause Christopher Nolan is one of the best directors out now.
But if you know the story, Odysseus was a fuckin moron. He coulda been home a full decade before he was had he been wise.

English

@iamchanteezy Ahh OK I’m not quite your parents age yet but yeah it was a big album for us GenX’ers.
English

@RodDelph Yep. My parents are in their early 70s. It was for my sisters and I to listen to since we played the radio a lot
English

@sportsfan6718 The knee actually happens right here. You can see it in real time and slow-mo. No need to lie, just try and be unbiased.

@RodDelph @BraddrofliT Not arguing that
My point is we need real change
English

Texas is estimated to have roughly 2 million undocumented immigrants despite having a Republican governor for more than a decade. If Republican leadership alone were the solution, that number should have fallen dramatically by now.
The reality is that Texas’s economy depends heavily on undocumented labor in industries like agriculture, construction, hospitality, and food processing.
“Undocumented immigrants” has become little more than a campaign slogan. If solving the issue were as simple as the rhetoric suggests, Texas would look very different by now.
English

@BobT4321 @BraddrofliT That’s exactly what the OP is saying. The republican led govt here in TX don’t care that they are undocumented & allow their friends to employ them. The point is if they really cared they would practice what they preach & have ICE in these Texas streets yet they don’t, why🤔?
English

@BraddrofliT None of that changes the simple facts that they are in our country illegally and it’s against the law to employ undocumented workers. What good are laws if people in charge just turn a blind eye to whatever laws they disagree with
