@siobhanworld Very different. Used to be at church, Thursday , Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Think that’s why I am so against organised religion now.

@MortgageMikeN2 @unearthed2023 Not much, have a villa with its own pool so just having a decent break. Could live here but can’t work from abroad. Not does face to face since covid so would not really matter where I am in the world.

@RodMortgageMan @unearthed2023 What sort of activities are you doing? As I’ve only stayed at Atlantis didn’t do anything outside the water park and shopping malls.

Would rather pull my eyes out with forks than live in Dubai. Probably the fakest, most culturally lacking place on earth. On a positive note… at least all the chavs are leaving the UK to live there 👌🏼

Mark my words give it a few years and Dubai will feel like an empty desert filled with buildings. The charm of Atlantis The Palm is fading fast. Visitor numbers are reportedly down by nearly 40%, and the place often feels almost empty now. It’s become a classic case of “been there, done that.” Dubai has turned into a one-time visit destination overpriced, not very family-friendly, and heavily dependent on luxury appeal. Once people check it off their list, they rarely feel the urge to return. Over the years, the excitement has worn off. Today, travelers value money more than ever, choosing simplicity over excess and thinking twice before spending big on luxury. @ATLANTIS @visitdubai @VisitDubai_IN

@MortgageMikeN2 @unearthed2023 I really like it. Here now, 10th visit in total. Think it’s a brilliant city. Great hotels and loads to do.
English

@unearthed2023 Been a couple of times and stayed at the Atlantis both times. Definitely worth a visit but agree about living there, wouldn’t be for me.

@CheekyVic I own a mortgage advice company if you need any help. We don’t charge any broker fees at all.

@idlewildgirl My dog died back In august. He was really ill for a year or so before he died. It’s not great how you feel guilty that you don’t have to worry about them if you go away.
English

@ClareLou1878 Yep. If you get chance listen to him on the high performance pod cast, think he’s the best ever guest.
English

@ClareLou1878 I think there is a rule where you can’t get a second honour so soon to getting a previous honour, seen him speak twice live, brilliant bloke.
English

@suemcco11 I went ti blue waters for the first time last month and really liked it as an area. Really nice and relaxed and loads to do.
English

@RodMortgageMan and it’s easy and not too expensive to get taxis to the main area each evening for dinner etc? from the palm i mean
English

@suemcco11 Yep taxis are really cheap normally just Que yo outside the hotels. Think it’s a brilliant place to go would like ti live there full time to be honest.
English

@suemcco11 Think it depends what you want out of a holiday, I have stayed on the palm twice at different hotels and really liked both hotels. Stayed at the Atlantis last time and really liked it, really busy with loads of restaurants and a private beach
English

@RodMortgageMan would you recommend staying in the palm area? is that near enough to the marina and mall in taxis? or is staying on JBR nicer? the palm area seem to have private beaches but is jbr nicer beach and closer to everything?
