The world is too noisy, its too much discourse. You cant find peace & build in noise.|Positive Black Representation| A person will tell you how stupid they are.

@educator4ever36 School in general is pretty much a daycare and they are trying to maximize their profits(kids in class). You cant do that if you bottleneck the class by holding kids back.

@Stella12131989 @JRUSS51 @CaudilloNuclear ??? Do you think he means he is going to kill a boy because they said hi to her? I would assume he meant if there is a physical threat to her life/wellbeing then he would eliminate that threat. But thats me thinking as a father I guess.

@DreAllDay Hold on now, Im not got to stand for this generalizations! Prairie View A&M has a nice campus. 🤣 But I know the schools you are talking about & I wont name them. But I agree that the stance is ill-advised, because of exposure, funding for top end facilities, scholarships, & NIL

Anyone who has been to an HBCU campus knows that this is a laughable proposition for a player with high major offers. The campuses look like the projects. Even the people posting about this, if they had the option of a top athlete, would not go to an HBCU for less $$$.

The campaign asks Black athletes and fans to consider HBCUs instead: "When considering where to commit your talent or your financial support, keep HBCUs at the top of your list" naacp.org/campaigns/out-…

@MaxBlaq1865 @jeffcharlesjr Black America as a group is split and there isn't an agreed upon plan for the group and I dont think there will be anymore. The book "Disintegration, the splintering of Black America" is about this. Its outdated for where we are now in time but still an enlightening book.

@MaxBlaq1865 @jeffcharlesjr True, but in this climate & historically the issue wont be addressed properly. As a group we are always late to the next move. You have to see whats coming & take advantage of it. The sitting & decaying about it keeps us late bc we dont have a parallel plan that plays the game.

@smudge_now @MajToure Oh this is 100% true. A lot of people(probably still an understatement) are being paid good money and are useless. But the problem is if we really paid people what they are "worth" then the whole economy would crash into oblivion. So what do we do? I have no idea.

Lost SO MUCH respect for a lot of y’all handling of this Thomas Massie primary. The respect was already dwindling, it’s just good to have a clear paper trail. Y’all want back in on Con Inc so bad and it shows.

@coachgregadams I disagree and I think its ironic how you have the order. In my view from back to front led to the next thing, compounding issues.

26 states just passed laws trying to recreate this exact classroom. The largest study on the results dropped two weeks ago. Stanford, Duke, Michigan, and UPenn tracked 4,600 schools that locked student phones in Yondr pouches. Three years of data. Test score improvement across all subjects: close to zero. Attendance change: close to zero. Self-reported attention: unchanged. The phones are in locked pouches all day. The kids still can't focus. Here's what makes the data interesting. The UK ran this experiment in 2013 and saw a 6.4% test score bump, with the biggest gains among low-achieving students. The US ran it a decade later and got almost nothing. The difference is exposure length. UK students in 2013 had smartphones for about 6 years. US students in 2024 had them for 17. One group got interrupted early. The other had already built the habit architecture. The one metric that did move: by year three, student well-being improved. Grades stayed flat. Focus stayed flat. Attendance stayed flat. But the kids felt better. Turns out the phones were making them miserable even when they weren't hurting their scores. This video looks calm because it was filmed before the thing that would make calm impossible had arrived. 26 states are now learning that confiscating the device doesn't reverse what the device already did.

@Holland22J @MelikAbdul_ @jojo_juice Agreed. I dont hate any immigrants, and Im for helping people around the world (to an extent), even welcoming them. But its hard to see Americans struggling daily and we bring in mid to lower level workers and to your point permanent net negatives no matter race or ethnicity.

@RodP_Nation @MelikAbdul_ @jojo_juice I'm in favor of a highly selective immigration process with guardrails to drastically limit outsourcing of work. If the ultra-wealthy want to come here and bring American jobs, I'm good with that.

@Holland22J @MelikAbdul_ @jojo_juice Its always going to those, but in that case should it only be the ultra wealthy we let in, the ones that are massive + > -? I hear you & dont fully disagree but then I look at the leadership in our fortune 500 & the slow but steady change in the workforce while WE cant find jobs.

@RodP_Nation @MelikAbdul_ @jojo_juice The broader point is that there are immigrants that bring a net positive to the native populace, and it benefits us to bring them in. However, this is quite different from the hordes of welfare leeches and scammers we have brought in over the past several years.

@Holland22J @MelikAbdul_ @jojo_juice Elon is more so an outlier, and im some what bias because i believe he overly pushes racial discourse. How many immigrants does he and other immigrants have working them. Don't forget he was apart of the "Americans aren't smart enough" discourse.

@RodP_Nation @MelikAbdul_ @jojo_juice Yes my guy, we are mostly in agreement. However, are Americans being persecuted by giving Elon Musk citizenship, with the thousands of high paying jobs he has created for Americans? Immigration is not a broad brush.

@Holland22J @jojo_juice @MelikAbdul_ The ones working on farms are being attacked and killed as well. Black farmers make up most of the farmers on the white farm owners land.

@Holland22J @MelikAbdul_ So Americans cant be productive, create jobs, services, and benefits for Americans? That is why we need H1Bs, 500k Chinese students too? We dont need any of them. We can do it ourselves, I would rather be stagnant for a few years to improve the people here then depend on others.

@RodP_Nation @MelikAbdul_ That's the difference. Productive people create jobs, products, and services that benefit the society around them.
