@WABI_TV5 Because 2/3 of the population doesn’t work anymore. There is no upside to paying unskilled workers a skilled wage. Everything has to go up if you pay more, hence inflation and that wage no longer being a livable wage. Simple economics. Work= pay. Crap work= less pay. Get a skill.

Bad people reside in every profession and every walk of life. Please don’t judge people that do jobs for the right reason, on the few bad ones in any given profession. Police work is incredibly hard, stressful and a thankless and selfless job. Some just aren’t fit for it.
