Multiple individuals report lending amounts ranging from thousands to tens of thousands of dollars in crypto, with total alleged loans nearing $250,000 across roughly 15 people. Some say they were given similar explanations tied to past project struggles, including references to MELD. Several lenders, including those who claim to have sent $20,000+ in $ADA, say communication has stopped entirely, with Farid reportedly inactive and unresponsive since early April 2026 despite repeated outreach. At this time, there has been no public response from Farid regarding the allegations.

just to be clear, if farid did not disclose he was 250k in the hole, and was seeking $10-20k loans in CHUNKS from these people, farid actively deceived people and is a shitbag. the people lending obviously made a mistake, but if they thought they were the only lender and were doing him a solid by helping out with 10-20k, that is a very different situation than learning they were 1 of 20+ creditors and even more unlikely to get their money back.

If you want Cardano to be used for supply chains, digital IDs, and banking the unbanked… the original vision… you actually don’t want a $10 ADA. Just something to think about :)
