After a tough start, we managed to turn things around,sitting in 2nd place now!🇵🇹

Let's start with one of the darkest casino predatory mechanics included in eFootball, "Variable ratio schedule" in eFootball delivers rewards after an unpredictable number of actions, like randomized Chance Deals (players of the week etc), or spins on a box (of 50,100,150,250,300 and unlimited as drogba daily penalty box) but the quality or suitability of the signed player is uncertain, encouraging repeated engagement. The same principle of randomness is also applied in the acquisition of player skills, position training, random booster, random coins rewards (event rewards in general), the unpredictability keeps players engaged, as they continue playing in hopes of receiving high-value rewards, similar to gambling mechanics. There is also many psychological issues to this game and i am sure you will recognize many of them but exposing them below will help you have a clearer view. Addiction Risk - The anticipation of a rare reward can lead to compulsive spending and play, where users feel compelled to keep playing to achieve a desired outcome (signing a favorite player, getting a skill or a position etc). This can result in excessive time spent on the game, neglecting other responsibilities, relationships, sleep, studies, work or hobbies. Frustration and dissappointement from randomization - A user grinding the VS AI Event for a Chance Deal might receive a player that doesn’t fit their Dream Team strategy, causing irritation and a sense of wasted and futile efforts. Sunk Cost Fallacy - a cognitive bias where people continue with a course of action, even if it's not beneficial, players may continue investing time or money (purchasing eFootball Coins) to justify prior efforts, even if there is no fun, even when the outcomes remain disappointing, leading to emotional exhaustion. Social comparison - constant comparison to others Dream Teams or leaderboard rankings can erode confidence, particularly for younger players or those sensitive to social status leading to low self-esteem. Envy and Frustration - Seeing others with rare players (from premium packs) can foster envy, especially because of difference in players overall between standards or highlight and big times, a struggling player in lower division when matched against a full maxed team can be lead to feelings of inadequacy. Regret and Guilt - spending money on microtransactions without guaranteed valuable rewards can lead to regret, especially for players with limited disposable income. Financial Anxiety - for some, especially younger players or those susceptible to impulsive spending, chasing rewards through purchases can lead to financial strain or conflicts with family. To conclude , the "Variable ratio schedule" is very predactory and is causing so much harm to the fanbase worldwide, it is used consciously by eFootball, a game that was back then a real game wich did not include those elements, i hope it was a good and awakenining read, next post will tackle more elements of the game. You may have enough income and you spend on the game or a free to play user i'm not here to judge you, but you would never allow to be manipulated, the "variable ratio" has been extracted from animal experiments (pigeons basicly) by the doctor B.F. Skinner (Psychologist) and is well studied, is used in other fileds also like dog training and other areas, so please don't allow it to be used on yourself, or on others. Being a Deep-Lying Forward is not necessarily a down side, on the contrary, this means that he can act like a loose cannon close to the goal. He has everything, literally, to be part of your starting 11 always. He runs, he is equipped with a good physicality to keep up with beasts like VVD or Piqué, excellent finishing and balance. I don't have very much to add, he is just perfect. Even if short he also good enough when it comes to pass with his head, less to score goals with it, but you'll find other amazing ways to do so. His stats simply don't give you the full picture about his Player ID and how amazing he is! One of my top 5 players of all time in real life and in the game. My favourite position for him is AMF (central). I’m eager to see what he’ll play like but he should be strong.
