Vamos hablar en serio; A mí como Inglés me importa NADA que los argentinos piensen que las Falklands o Malvinas como las llaman crean que son de ellos, una disputa que lleva más de 200 años y que cada vez que se les vienen elecciones o partidos de fútbol contra nosotros la sacan a relucir. Lo que me molesta es que se enojen más con nosotros los ingleses que con la dictadura que los mando a morir y a pelear una guerra absurda que nosotros nunca buscamos. Las Falklands o Malvinas, para que vean que no quiero ofenderlos, eran británicas mucho antes que existiera Argentina, ahí nunca vivió un argentino, luego en su acuerdo con los españoles pensaron que eran una herencia que nosotros NUNCA reconocimos y ya está. Ahora que luego Galtieri los haya hecho invadir un territorio que no se les reconoce, solo por un impulso patriotero de un dictador que necesitaba cambiar la narrativa del país y que no se cuestionen eso, me parece insólito. Yo creo que los invade más un sentimiento de envidia hacia inglaterra que de odio por la guerra. Ahí murieron hombres valientes argentinos e ingleses. No se olviden nunca de eso. Más de 900 seres humanos que nunca debieron fallecer y que deberían haber vivido sus vidas plenas con su familias quedaron ahí. Así que corten la estupidez. En Inglaterra no los odiamos, nos reímos de uds porque son graciosos e incluso a mí que he vivido toda mi vida entre Chile y UK me caen bien. Pero desde que los gobierna Milei se han convertido en un país que deja mucho que desear. Y ahora puteenme lo que quieran, pero jodan con el fútbol. No con la dignidad de las personas y los seres humanos. No somos tan distintos.

@Cherries_FM Depends what your definition of big is… I’d say the 9th most successful team in England with great history (3rd most before ww2) with European runs and a huge catchment and consistently sold out 52k stadium over decades is big. It’s big enough for all the others to be obsessed

I’ll try to be as plain and simple as possible, Dom. The rules represent the lowering of a portcullis with 6 clubs already inside the castle. 6 clubs that built revenue streams in a time of little to no restrictions, in varying ways. Some through success, some through their location, some through having ambitious, wealthy owners that front loaded their way to being healthy, sustainable businesses (an acceptable and common practice in all business but football apparently). Most are a mix of the above. The rest are now left to climb the walls of the castle to gain entry, rather than walk through the doorway the original six entered through. As a result, those 6 can sit pretty inside the castle and pick off whoever they like from those attempting to scale the wall… kicking them further down while building the walls higher with the scraps they take from them. Not through any current sporting merit… just because they passed through the entry before the portcullis was slammed shut. The rules are, therefore, unfit for purpose for a competitive sport and need to be reimagined. I understand the fear is that another City or Chelsea happens - but you can’t cut the rope to 86 clubs in order to protect 6. Now, for clarity - I’m not accusing Spurs of doing anything underhand to get to their current position - but surely you must see how unfairly the system is rigged against everyone that’s now trying to achieve something?
