@kwestfanclub @Stsantek @virginmedia No, the responsibility is with the customer to know what contract they are bound to, however unwanted it is
English

@Stsantek @virginmedia Hello, i work in the industry, as bad as Virgin are, and they are bad, the responsibility is the EE salesmen who placed the order without knowing your termination charge, whenever signing up i check for things like this so things like this dont happen.
English

It's not a 'small portion' of customers. It is literally most people I know who have used @virginmedia. I have been with Virgin for over a decade. I am paying £70 a month for M350, mediocre speed for an extortionate price. I moved houses last summer, and they rolled me into a 24-month MINIMUM contract, without me realising. I get a visit by @EE who offer me £27 a month for M500. They offer to pay up to a £300 exit fee, but I tell them I doubt there will be any, as I have been with Virgin for a million years and surely £70 is not a package price. I make the switch, and Virgin bombards me with emails telling me I am only one year into my contract and will have to pay a £766.02 Early Disconnection Fee, referred to a debt collection agency, which could have a serious impact on my credit rating. And if I decline to pay, I will be referred to a debt collection agency, which, they specify, could seriously impact my credit rating. I have been on the phone for over an hour, stressed out and unable to work because of this. I cannot imagine how damaging this could be to more vulnerable people. They should be ashamed of themselves. They have now told me on the phone, "No, you are not actually on a 24-month contract; we will change it". But if I had not called and argued, I would have been liable for hundreds of pounds. Online, my contract very clearly says 24-month minimum and their threatening emails argued for exactly the same too:

🚨 We have fined Virgin Media £28 million after finding systematic failings in its contract cancellation process. Millions of customer calls were deliberately mishandled, creating unnecessary barriers to switching or cancelling. 🔗ofcom.org.uk/phones-and-bro…

@KopFinest I have literally never seen an English person wearing a hand of god tee. Sure you weren't in Scotland?
English

Argentinians hate English more than probably any other nation, they’re also full of racist wronguns more than a lot of countries too. Yet some English lads kick about in Argentina shirts, or worse, Maradona hand of god graphic tees😭🤮

English

@gavinmchughh Nah, 2 big odds did basically all the job and you wont get much of those odds in knockout stage, just enjoy the win

@SandyofSuffolk Mad that Suffolk is the only county that has this problem, no other developments anywhere else in the country
English

Yes, Suffolk was lovely. And quiet and peaceful. Once. With lovely friendly people. But, by hook or by crook, I'm getting out after 22 years here.
At one end of my village, there's recently been built a housing development with a couple of hundred houses on. Creating never ending traffic through my village. At the other end of my village, hundreds of acres of farmland have been decimated for a massive park and ride site for Sizewell C workers.
The pretty small market town of Framlingham is now surrounded by new housing estates.
Woodbridge didn't escape either. With a acres of fields in Woods Lane bring turned over for housing. Gone forever are the stunning yellow rape and red poppy fields.
Within a couple of miles of my village, there's a new housing development at Rendlesham and one in Eyke. Causing more traffic everywhere.
All along the A12 from Friday Street to Yoxford, hundreds of acres of farmland have been compulsorily purchased to build a new dual carriageway, roundabouts and roads for easy access for construction traffic to Sizewell C. Despite Sizewell C being some 5 - 10 miles away.
The pretty villages like Theberton have been blighted by hundreds of lorries trundling by on their way to Sizewell C.
And don't forget the other energy projects at Walberswick and Friston too.
Further down the A12 at Martlesham, 2,000 new houses are being built called Brightwell Lakes and opposite there, on farmland, plans have just been submitted for another 1,300 new houses.
There are so many new housing developments in the Trimley villages, it's now joined to Felixstowe.
This isn't progress. It's wanton destruction of England, of Suffolk. The place I once loved.☹️😢😥

@CelticsNYGFan @ScotlandNT Easiest tournament ever to qualify for and still an embarrassing show. Deserves zero credit for wasting the best generation of players in decades.
English

@ScotlandNT He deserves his credit for making us relevant again. 3 tournaments after years of nothing counts for something. Now that he helped lay the foundation it's time to bring in an attack minded manager to get us over the hump. Thank you Steve Clarke for giving us some great moments!!
English

Now that we’re officially out, we need to have a total reset with 2030 in mind.
For better or worse, the SFA won’t let Clarke go until then.
Of the players that started in this World Cup their ages in 2030 will be:
Gunn - 34 ✅
Robertson - 36 ❌/Tierney - 33 ❓
Hanley - 38 ❌/McKenna - 33 ✅
Hendry - 35 ❓
Patterson - 28 ✅/Hickey - 28 ✅
Ferguson - 30 ✅
McGinn - 35 ❌
Christie - 35 ❌/Gannon-Doak 24 ✅
McTominay - 33 ❓
Adams - 33 ❓/ Shankland 34 ❌
Clarke needs to break in nearly a full new squad - starting from the Nations Leagues games in August.
With a high likelihood of automatic qualification for Euro 28 - it gives a unique opportunity to set a new generation of players.

@lucaxpedro You seem to have already been to about 10 concerts of the same singer this month, maybe just get a life?
