It’s very hard to have a discussion with someone who upholds the objectivity of morality whilst denying its existence. The real problem is that they can’t see how the logic is self refuting. If objective morality doesn’t exist then the savages of Ozoro have done nothing ultimately wrong. They have just done what we don’t like, like farting in public. But everyone with a brain knows what they have done is wrong. Even those individual men themselves wouldn’t permit that to be done to their sisters or wives. Because they know it’s wrong, it’s not just unfashionable, it is inherently evil to violate vulnerable women and girls for your gratification. We know this because we know there’s an objective right and wrong and we expect all men to live by that standard.
