There’s a conversation happening on TikTok where the girls are finally talking about how a lot of men aren’t actually attractive. Like you go to the grocery store and see a ton of stunning women, but men? You will remember how many months back you last saw a hot man.

I watched my Elder brother run mad before my eyes. I remember, darkness was in my family and when you get to the age of twenty-one, it’ll fall on you. Our eldest brother got to the age of 21, he became Schizophrenic. The second one got to the age of 21, she stepped on something at the university of Jos, and her right leg became two times as fat as her left leg. The third-born became 21 and he had an infirmity that doctors could not diagnose. I watched my immediate elder brother run mad before my eyes and it was at 21. And I knew that I would be visited by the devil at the age of twenty one. So I learnt how to pray; not just in the morning, but also at night. Let me tell you something: Witches keep time. Necromancers keep time. Warlocks keep time. And when a true warlock tells you “You Will See”, they mean it. They will come after you, it might be after nine years later, but they’ll definitely come. They’ll look for you when you’re weak and vulnerable. I was to celebrate my 21st birthday, and it was on campus. I was running to the Prayer room because we had this prayer time from 12 Midnight to 1:00 AM. That’s why it’s not good to be late for prayers, I was late, and on my way, I had an encounter. That day I was alone, and this bird, an OWL appeared, wanting to stand on my head. I used my hand to hit it, but it just went backward, it didn’t fly away, it just moved backward. Then it occurred to me that it was the bird that plagued my brothers. I tried to fight in the flesh and the bird wanted to change to something else. Then the Holy Ghost whispered to me “Fear is a luxury tonight”. It means ‘You will die if you fear this night’ So, to avoid not getting afraid, I closed my eyes and spoke in tongues in capital letters. When I opened my eyes, one of the wings was broken, so it couldn’t fly again. I dealt with that bird and left it there and went for prayers. Three days later, the last among our ancestors that had refused to die, came out of his house and stood by the doorpost, fell and faced the wall, and died. Peace came to my house and the death stopped. My younger sisters, at 21, nothing happened to them. The Scripture says that the Ernest Expectation of Creature waiteth for the MANIFESTATION OF THE SONS OF GOD. The bondage of corruption, the plans of the wicked and the activities of darkness will continue to survive in a life, family and territory until a son of God arises because darkness prevails in an environment where there's no priesthood. _____ Sermon by Apostle Arome Osayi and transcribed by Kingdom Channel ✍🏼

Powerful testimony of faith overcoming what felt like generational darkness. The owl encounter, tongues prayer breaking its wing, and the ancestor's passing right after—intense stuff straight from Apostle Arome Osayi's sermon. Many in similar traditions share parallel stories of deliverance. Glad your family found peace. What's one key lesson you took from it?

I dont get why they are dragging him. He was invited to this event as a guest speaker. As somepne who enjoys his content, his character represents the everyday life of motherhood to celebrate mothers. He indicated that he was there as Mama Deola - which means he is speaking through the character. He also stated the character is drawn through the lens of his mother's life. Everyone can speak about motherhood and fatherhood through their relationship with their parents. It doesn't make him a voice for motherhood. He is simply offering a different perspective, not as a mother but as a person who grew up with one. If he can act like a mother and we all enjoy it, why do you draw the line at him speaking about it?

2018 was the year I thought my life was about to change. I was still learning, still grinding, still managing small Nigerian pages that would argue over ₦5,000 like it was ₦5 million. But I didn’t complain, I just kept working, building, proving myself. Then one day, I got a DM. “Hey, we need a social media manager for a US-based brand. Are you available?” I read it like five times. US-based brand. In 2018, that was not a small thing. That was escape. That was validation. That was finally, all this work is making sense. We jumped on a call. The owner sounded impressed. “You understand growth.” “You actually get engagement.” “This is better than what we’ve seen locally.” Locally. Even that word sounded like I had already crossed over. They gave me a trial. Two weeks. I treated it like my life depended on it. I studied their audience. I stayed up all night scheduling posts because of time difference. I replied comments like I was the brand owner. I even created extra content they didn’t ask for. By the end of the first week, their page started moving. More comments. More shares. More DMs. The owner messaged me: “This is insane… what are you doing differently?” I just smiled to myself. Because for once… something was working. Second week ended. They were happy. Very happy. “Let’s move forward long-term.” That was the message. I remember just staring at my phone… heart beating fast. I had already started planning in my head. Consistent dollar income. Stability. Peace. For once, I wouldn’t have to chase clients. Then came the question. “Quick one… where are you based?” I paused. Not because I wanted to lie. But because… I already knew how this story sometimes goes. Still, I answered. “Nigeria.” That was it. That one word changed everything. Suddenly, new concerns appeared. “Hmm… we’ve had issues before.” “Our payment system doesn’t really support Nigeria.” “We just need to be careful…” Careful. After two weeks of me literally growing their brand. After results. After proof. I had become a “risk.” The energy changed immediately. From excitement… to suspicion. From “let’s build” … to “let’s reconsider.” Two days later, I got the message. “Hey, we’ve decided to go in another direction.” No explanation. No acknowledgment of the work I had done. Nothing. But what hurt the most? They kept everything. My content style. My posting strategy. Even captions I drafted. They just replaced me with someone else… someone “safer.” I remember sitting outside that evening, holding my phone, just staring. Not even angry. Just tired. Because how do you compete with a reputation you didn’t create? How do you fight a bias that speaks before you even open your mouth? That day, I learned something early. As a Nigerian, sometimes you don’t just have to be good. You have to be twice as good… and still be doubted. But I didn’t stop. Because if there’s one thing Nigeria teaches you… It’s how to keep going, even when the system keeps reminding you that you’re not trusted.

Do you know why the whites will keep being better than us? Most of them are deed to greed and put their country first. Greed and corruption has eaten deep into us that we don't even see them as anything again. Everybody is just out there for their own personal gain and profits not minding if the country is burning to the ground. And that's the exact reason you're asking this question. If you were in her shoes greed for no allow you turn am down.

For those of you dragging Tiwa Savage for attending a royal dinner, I genuinely want to understand the logic.. Are you saying she should have declined an official invitation tied to a state visit between Nigeria and the British Royal Family?? Cause of what people on the internet will say? Be honest.. if you were in her position, representing your country on that level, would you even DREAM of TURNING iT DOWN??

People are abusing me for advising Nigerian men to leave white women alone. White women are nothing like Nigerian women. It takes a lot to build genuine relationship with them. If you carry your Nigerian anyhowness come here, you will end up in prison. They dont joke with their women

Two Nigerian citizens have been sentenced to a combined 21 years in prison at Inner London Crown Court for the rape of a 15-year-old schoolgirl in Brixton, south London. Fred Akinsanya, 34, was jailed for 10 years after being convicted of rape. Daniel Raji, 29, received 11 years after being found guilty of two counts of rape and taking an indecent image of a child. Sentencing, Judge Richards told the two culprits, the fact that you two abused her one after the other clearly aggravates the matter. Both offenders are expected to be deported to Nigeria after serving their sentences.

KingsChat launched in 2014 (developed by Kinging LLC, tied to Christ Embassy/Loveworld). It's doing well as a niche Christian app: 1M+ downloads on Google Play (20K reviews, 3.9 stars), regular updates into 2026, strong user base especially in Nigeria/Africa for faith-focused messaging/calls/timeline. Not mainstream like WhatsApp but steady and growing in its space.
