@GingerGorman @Channel7 I actually feel deeply sorry for both of the individuals that they ended up in the very public debacle that they did. Sadly I fear some in the media have drunk their own koolade and genuinely believe that the 'Court of online social media' is an actual legitimate thing.

That @Channel7 interview with Bruce Lehrmann is being used to threaten and retraumatise the victim. And the media is willingly participating in it, by repeating his threats. (Including the ABC). FAR OUT. The system is so broken.

@GingerGorman @Channel7 TBF Ginger it is not the legal system that's broken here. Almost every major problem with this case has media error as its source. Poor journo standards that led to clear allegations of guilt of serious crimes prior to any conviction. That's basic 101 stuff.

@spunkyfuzzguts @GemmaTognini Not having a Mum to celebrate mother’s day with/for is sad. Perhaps in some cases tragic. But the tragic circs of a small no of people does not justify diminishing what is ultimately a very positive thing for the vast vast majority. no one wins.

@GemmaTognini What’s so wrong with being inclusive of the kids in resi care? The kids in foster care? The kids whose parents beat, rape and starve them? Like, who does the 11 year old in our local residential care facility make his card for? His CSO? The casual carers who change weekly? Who?

I didn't get to be a mum. For the millions of women like me, cancel the whole thing & be REALLY inclusive. Thats how we do this, right? These people 👇are mental pygmies. It's #MothersDay It will always be #MothersDay They can be as dumb & woke as they like, still #MothersDay

@GemmaTognini It is at times exhausting to try and address this kind of thing with logical arguments when everything about it is illogical. It’s like trying to disapprove a non-event.
