Our country needs to do this (open new drilling) for at least the next 10 -15 years whilst green technology is deployed. What bugs me a lot about the Greens is that their ideology does not take account of the fact that the UK is responsible for about 1% of the world's carbon emissions. You would be better protesting against China, USA and India (three countries that account for over 50% of the world's emissions).

Labour and Tory MPs want new drilling in the North Sea whilst we face a growing climate, energy and cost of living crisis caused by our reliance on fossil fuels. Approving new oil and gas licenses won’t take a penny off our bills and will fuel the climate crisis. New oil & gas is not the answer. Clean green energy is.

I learned today that the Jewish community has its own ambulance and police service operating in London. Why is this allowed? If the local Muslim community had a police and ambulance service in London, can you imagine the reaction from Restore Britain and Reform supporters? There seem to be different rules for different communities.
