We are delighted that Manuel Guerrero, the British citizen living with HIV arrested in #Qatar, is finally free in London. Thank you to everybody who has showed their support for Manuel and his family. We wish him all the very best.

When I wrote about @aidsmap in my chapter on patient activism in #Unheard, I could never have predicted that by the time it was published, the charity would have closed. I’m still so shocked by this. We need to keep funding things we know work, not just new shiny initiatives.

aidsmap is closing. I'm in shock, I'm upset, but I'm also proud of what we've achieved together. My greatest satisfaction in the last few years has been in nurturing and training a new generation of writers, our Emerging Voices. I want to give some of them a shout out. 1/10
