CLAUDE .md is the most important file in Claude. This is exactly how Boris Cherny sets his up: - CLAUDE .md is one text file. - It sits in your project folder. - Claude reads it before every reply. Without one, Claude has no idea who you are. Boris's version is the infographic below. Save it as your starting template. 3 steps to install yours: 1. Create the CLAUDE .md file. 2. Paste in Boris's rules from below. 3. Tell Claude to update it as you work. It builds itself from there. This is 1 of 6 features you need in Claude Code. The other 5 are in this week's newsletter. You also get Boris's CLAUDE.md to copy-paste. Free to read charliehills.substack.com/p/claude-code-… Repost ♻️ to help someone in your network. P.S. Have you set up a CLAUDE .md yet?

Just got off the phone with somebody refinancing their house They mentioned they put in a new pool and they spent $80,000 After analyzing all of the sales comparables, they are going to get about $20,000 worth of value for the pool Swimming pools are almost never good Investments Only in extremely rare circumstances Do not put in a pool hoping to get your money back It probably will not happen If you’re looking for the best bang for your buck …. remodel your kitchen, remodel your bathrooms, create a master suite with walk in closet or add a small deck to the back of the house if you don’t have one already

15 years of @drink_AG1 -- wow. Millions of customers and their mornings powered over that time. AG1 began with a simple mission: to help people take ownership of their health through foundational nutrition. Since then, millions of people around the world have made our products a part of their daily routines. Their trust and support have helped us build a category and global movement of simple, comprehensive, daily foundational nutrition that supports high performers of all kinds, from elite athletes to busy parents and professionals. That trust and community is the reason we’re here today, and why we’'ll continuously improve our products and standards in the industry. Over the past year, our incredible team, partners, and community have transformed AG1 from a single product, single channel business into a multi-product, multi-channel company - serving more people in more ways than ever before. This did not happen easily or without challenges and lessons (that could be a long post in and of itself), yet this incredible team brought it all to life after years of work behind the scenes. A few highlights I'm proud of: •Launched AG1 Next Gen, the latest step in years of iterations, bringing an upgraded formula backed by four human clinical trials to our customers (adding 5 strains of probiotics, methylated B vitamins, and plussed up minerals) •Maintained NSF for Sport certification for safety and quality on AG1 and AGZ and further expanded our testing program with Eurofins and Alkemist Labs  •Committed $20 million more toward scientific research over the next three years as things like GLP-1 drugs, the modern health consumer, and other lifestyle trends further the the desire and opportunity for products to support metabolic health and the gut microbiome. •Partnered with UC Davis and the Innovation Institute for Food and Health to advance nutrition science •Released three new AG1 flavors, Tropical, Citrus, and Berry, which have exceeded our expectations (Berry and Citrus sold out faster than we imagined!) •Entered mass retail for the first time, bringing AG1 travel packs to all 600+ Costco stores across the US (that was A LOT of green powder to make!) •Introduced our first new product, AGZ - a melatonin free, magnesium based nightly drink for restorative sleep in three flavors - to a waitlist of almost 30,000 people and a “Best Sleep Supplement” award from SHAPE magazine (not a sponsored or paid recognition - feel like we have to say that these days like "Not AI" on our videos) •Expanded to even more international markets - growing fast in EU and APAC • Strengthened 3rd party testing certifications in Europe with Cologne Liste and Informed Sport, and continued to lead in global quality standards •Debuted our first global marketing campaign, Good Morning Moon, highlighting real AG1 community members. It was named one of AdAge’s 25 Best Campaigns of the year (and made many of us teary) •Hosted nearly 300 local run clubs, studio classes, training sessions, and in person events with our AG1 customers and community worldwide - we'll double down on in person events next year, too! •So many customer conversations hearing stories of how AG1 and AGZ impacted their lives while getting ideas on what to do next - they fill our hearts and inspire us to do more and better every day. ...all while doing the work to set the stage for next year's continued launches and expansion. I’m so grateful for the team powering this work, the partners who help us raise the bar, and the customers who trust us as part of their daily routines. Here’s to the next 15 years of helping people take ownership of their health!
AG1@drink_AG1

Cheers to 15 years 💚 What started as a mission to inspire people to take ownership of their own health, has led to the building of this incredible community. We are grateful for everyone that has welcomed AG1 into their morning and nighttime routines. Here's to the next 15 years of innovation...we are just getting started!

Just got my blood drawn. I asked the Quest technician how many clients they get from Function Health. Her answer: “A lot. More than 25% of patients come from Function every day.” There's so much opportunity in the picks and shovels of "prosumer" health.
Ryan Hoover@rrhoover

Here's why I'm investing in consumer health tech: 1. Cultural tailwinds drive awareness. Increasingly health is the topic of conversation. Popular podcasts like Huberman's show strong demand for education. GLP-1s opened the floodgates for peptide adoption (and alternative treatments broadly). The future of health is self-directed as more consumers explore solutions outside of their primary care doctor. 2. Data drives engagement. Today we have tools to measure our health: Wearables (e.g. Oura, Apple Watch), CGMs (e.g. Levels), blood testing (e.g. Function Health), full-body MRIs (e.g. Ezra, Prenuvo), DEXA scans (e.g. BodySpec), and others to provide insight into how treatments or lifestyle changes are helping. Consumers need feedback loops to stick with it, especially if it requires a behavior change. 3. AI. I know. AI has become the blanket answer to "why now" but it will change everything. No doctor is a specialist in every domain yet the body is a complex organism. AI that knows all your data (thanks to #2 above), medical history, and the latest in scientific discoveries will have a far more comprehensive POV than any human to provide the best guidance. And it'll be available 24/7. 4. I'm getting older. And the older I get the more health becomes a priority. Example: I had some knee issues a few years ago. That led me to try BPC-157 and TB-500, introducing me to a world of peptides therapies. Modern health experimentation is fascinating and fun. One of my favorite WhatsApp groups is a collection of friends sharing their health protocols and experiments. 5. The market is huuuuge. No qualification needed here.

The next @Giants HC needs experience, cannot be a first time HC. Needs to know how to deal with the outside noise and understand the pressure of being in New York. Most coordinators don’t make great HC’s so please spare me those names. That doesn’t make them bad OC/DC’s but they’re not CEO material, that’s ok. So many names will fly around but there are probably only 1/2 names available now that work. Our best option is probably already a HC, it’s honestly worth the discussion….should we trade for a HC?

Google Maps has so much data they could use to make the customer experience better Examples -I would like to know which Indian restaurants Indian people go to, or even ones Indian people rated highly. -I want to know which places attract locals (vs tourists) -which businesses do people repeat visit? -times that neighborhoods get busy -pricing over time (menu data) What else?
