The people I see at the Foodbank are lonely people in the main. People without a familial support network to rely on when things go south. These people have always existed and no government has ever been any good at helping them.
Food banks have evolved past just dishing out food. CAB, housing and mental health people often attend to give out advice. I think they are brilliant and am pleased the Royals take a prominent role supporting them. Despite all the cheap shots
