@prelfe2102 @AngelaNoDicks Um, you're forgetting one factor in the relationship between businesses and employees: the labor employees are providing. They're not asking for money for free. A job that doesn't pay enough to live is a net waste of the employee's time.

@AngelaNoDicks Yes. Businesses should basically be charities, run for the benefit of their employees. If they go under, so be it...at least it will have been fair. The fact that nobody will have a job is irrelevant. Genius.

“A minimum wage of £15 would end my coffee shop…” So? It’s not like there aren’t dozens of other coffee shops that will be happy to take your business and pay their staff. This argument happens every time with minimum wage rises. It’s nonsense.
Peter McCormack 🏴‍☠️🇬🇧🇮🇪@PeterMcCormack

A minimum wage of £15 would end my coffee shop, it would have to close, as would many other businesses. I’ll explain for the economically illiterate. Staff costs are currently half our costs, a £15 minimum wage is actually more than £15 an hour for the company, because you have to add: - 12.07% holiday - Sick pay - Maternity pay if and when required - National insurance - Pension contributions These costs would mean the shop loses money because remember, energy costs are up, rates are up, regulations are up. Now you can pass these costs onto the consumer - that would mean charging a lot more for coffee, people won’t pay it. The likes of Starbucks and Costa can, because they have economies of scale. The independent doesn’t. Now the little socialist will say well this is your fault, if you can’t run a business that can afford to pay its staff properly, but the little socialist has never run a business and does not understand the dynamics. Now I could pay some staff off and fill those hours myself or reduce us to one staff member during certain periods - but this proves the point that a minimum wage costs jobs. There was a time when these jobs were done by kids, perhaps on the weekend, paid a lower wage, no holiday and no silly employment rights. Perhaps they were even paid cash. The dynamic worked and small businesses like this could operate. It was also a great first job. Sadly now it isn’t worth employing entitlement youngsters at this level of pay. So alas, I don’t need the stress, the business would close, a number of jobs would be lost. Economics is about understanding these dynamics, no vibes. The cost of living is not solved through passing on inflation to the business, it is solved by ending high inflation and creating prosperity. This is what socialists don’t understand, they can’t create prosperity, they can only destroy it.

Yes, virtuous men must rise up and repeal the 19th Amendment. Why? Because we love women and want them to stop the self destruction of women, children, society and families. Political propaganda has deceived women into voting for the interests of their enemies. The only way to save women is to repeal the 19th!

If abortion is illegal, abandoning a pregnant woman should be illegal too. If she can’t walk away from the pregnancy, he shouldn’t be allowed to walk away from fatherhood.

Her body belonging to her does not de-obligate her responsibilities to those around her. It isn't all or nothing. Our society provides so much, and asks for so little. Sorry about your health issues, but the fringe is not the norm, and shouldn't dictate what is expected of those who can create the next generation.

Fertility is not just "slightly" below replacement. It's now FAR below replacement. Sorry - it's time for extreme measures. Get over it. Be fruitful and multiply. That's your job. That's your responsibility. Don't like it? Too bad; lots of people don't like being held accountable and responsible. Welcome to reality, replace yourself or tie your own tubes.

Men are not "intimidated" by your degree, your corporate job, your tax bracket, or your fierce independence. They genuinely do not care about your resume. What modern women call "intimidation" is actually just a man walking away because your combative energy, constant need to argue, and refusal to yield is completely exhausting. You aren't intimidating; you are just insufferable to come home to.

what opinion about men do you have that makes people feel like this???

Women are not leaving the workforce. What you’re suggesting is to limit a woman’s choices and autonomy so she no other option but to be dependent on a man, and that’s not happening. It’s not even biblical. Even the Proverbs 31 woman was a working mom. The problem isn’t women. The problem is a crackhead economy, a culture that hates women and motherhood, and a church that doesn’t prioritize discipling future heads of households. This isn't the garden. We can stop blaming women for the fall of man.
The Transformed Wife 🦋@godlywomanhood

If women left the workforce: 1. Marriage would be common again. 2. Marriages would be stronger. 3. Divorce would be lower. 4. Children would be wanted. 5. Children would be raised by their own mothers. 6. More jobs for men with higher wages. 7. Crime would be lower. 8. Families would eat healthier. 9. Mental health issues would plummet. 10. More men in leadership positions. 11. More community and help for women. 12. Women would be more fertile, have less miscarriages, and healthier due to less stress. 13. Birth rates would rise. 14. Stronger families, churches, and nations.
