@NewsWire_US It's not legally possible for them to secede btw

@AstroculeG59 @profleonn I use stow for dotfiles connected to a git repo. Chezmoi seems like a more structured way to do that. I’ll check it out
English

@profleonn @RogueROP Checkout chezmoi for managing dotfiles, goes a bit beyond basic management and became a go to tool on all my devices.

@WayneMathison @RodAVanier I said well said, implying I agree. There is no argument. I’m just pointing out the obvious fact that this is ai generated
English

@RogueROP @RodAVanier If the argument is wrong, explain why.
If all you’ve got is “ChatGPT,” you’re not refuting the point. You’re just admitting the point was better written than your reply.
I do use Grammarly for spelling and grammar. I have been using it since 2009.

Not a chance. The use of reasonable force is already permitted. PP wants permission for home owners to use unreasonable force in defense of their home. How American is that!

Who supports @PierrePoilievre new law initiative equivalent to the USA Castle law that would provide you the legal framework to protect your family & home from invaders !
English

Rod is doing that classic BS where he argues against a cartoon and then congratulates himself for defeating it.
Nobody serious is saying homeowners should get a blank cheque to play vigilante. The point is simpler: if someone breaks into your home and threatens your family, the law should not treat the homeowner like the suspicious party for defending what every normal person would defend.
“Reasonable force is already permitted” sounds tidy in a law-school seminar. In real life, at 3 a.m., with your family terrified and an intruder in the house, people are not calmly measuring force with a bureaucratic teaspoon.
Pierre’s point is about legal clarity for victims, not permission for chaos. Rod knows that. But “protect families from home invaders” polls a lot better than “trust the system while criminals test your doors,” so he has to call it American. That’s not an argument. That’s a maple-syrup flavoured dodge.

We've learned this week that the CIA and CSIS have the ability to turn on your phone's microphone and listen in.
We also learned that police in Ontario are also CURRENTLY doing this.
BUT, its so secretive, they would rather DROP serious cases than admit it as evidence.
Another conspiracy theory turned true.

@patekgonia How do you think single mothers got into the situation in the first place?

Today the voices of division will be loud.
They don't speak for the country I know, one that belongs to all of us.
That's our Britain. A Britain worth fighting for.

what the fuck is happening in the UK?!
an 18yo kid was stabbed four times by a fellow british* man "Vikrum Digwa" who was openly carrying an 8 inch blade in public (which is illegal in the UK, but under the new racial laws only one ethnic group is allowed to do) chased down when he tried to escape, stabbed again, but since the gentleman claimed henry did one of the worst crimes one can commit in the west, doing a racism, the police put the bleeding kid in handcuffs and let him die on the pavement
what the fuck?!

@SpamWaveTV A simple bit of maths and 2 minutes of thinking can save a lot of time without using an LLM. I can’t spend money on an easy task, and I feel it’s dumb to use LLMs for easy tasks.

Nothing happened here. It just decrypted a local file which we can even do using CyberChef. Stop the AI hype, please.

@RingOfFireCGY Is everyone here retarded? Brett Kulak has 83 games played this season and 1 goal. He’s played for 3 teams this year alone. He’s a mid/low tier 4th liner.
Let’s not pretend the flames would be a competitive team if we still had Brett fucking Kulak lol.
English

Good for Brett Kulak
He was traded by Brad Treliving to Montreal in exchange for Rinat Valiev and Matt Taormina. Both did not play a game in CGY
Since being traded by the Flames, Kulak has played in 108 playoff games
The Flames have played 94 playoff games in the last 30 years

@ethan_bomhof @RingOfFireCGY He has 1 goal in 83 games this year. The way people are acting like he’s good is ridiculous. The move was fine at the time and it’s fine now. He’s a decent 4th line guy, which are a dime a dozen in the league. Completely replaceable asset.
English

@RingOfFireCGY Good for the Habs in seeing something in Kulak. Hindsight makes this trade look terrible. But I do not remember Kulak being any good with Calgary. And we had younger and better Dmen ready to take his place.
