@LilianGreenwood @JOCampbellMP @networkrail It was a delight to attend the opening of the lifts at Beeston Station yesterday- this will make such a difference to all those travelling with young children , heavy luggage and with conditions affecting their mobility- thank you to all involved in delivering these lifts.

Today I had the pleasure of opening the new lifts at #Beeston station, made possible through £6.8m of funding from the Government’s Access for All programme. Step-free stations make a real difference to how people can use our railways, helping them travel with confidence.

@Brainflavors @broxtowelabour The region will oversee any selection now. Normally new officers wd be elected but we are moving into "interim arrangements" for CLPs due to boundary changes with AGMs held in Oct/Nov so it may be down to their region what happens next.
