Florida Governor candidate James Fishback got in a HEATED argument with Sophie Rain & left her SPEECHLESS after proposing a 50% Ø/F “Sin Tax” on Piers Morgan 😳💀 “What are you gonna tell your daughter in 10-15 years, when your images are all over the Internet and she’s gonna be bullied in middle school?”

My wife was formerly promiscuous. I was a virgin. She was then radically born-again. Committed to church, evangelized constantly, Puritan books in her bedroom, prayer journals, grief over past sexual sin, etc. We got to know each other well for over a year, dated for four months, engaged for two and a half, and didn't sin sexually with one another. Our first kiss with each other was at the altar on our wedding day (reaction pic attached!). We've been married for over five years now, and she's been the most wonderful and godly wife, mother to our three children, and homemaker you could imagine. She's more pure than most virgins, as biblical purity has less to with past sins (though they certainly matter) and more to do with one's current posture of the heart and daily decisions to honor the Lord (Matt. 5:8). We're far too quick to forget the story of the woman labeled as a known "sinner" (likely a prostitute) in Luke 7:36-50 who was washing Jesus' feet with her tears while kissing them too. The Pharisees were shocked that Jesus let a public sinner do this. Jesus responded with a parable about debts being forgiven and ended with this powerful conclusion: "Her many sins have been forgiven; that’s why she loved much. But the one who is forgiven little, loves little" (Luke 7:47). Everyone seems to highlight the benefits of virginity, and it certainly is a blessing. But we forget to highlight the benefits of being forgiven much as well. My wife knows the depths of Jesus' forgiveness more than most people, enabling her to more easily live out a life of passionate love for her Savior. A woman or man's past sexual sin matters. But what matters far more when it comes to deciding who to marry is if the person is truly born again, if their repentance is real, if they truly have a heart for Christ, if they truly follow Jesus and obey his commands. "God has chosen what is foolish in the world to shame the wise, and God has chosen what is weak in the world to shame the strong. God has chosen what is insignificant and despised in the world — what is viewed as nothing — to bring to nothing what is viewed as something, so that no one may boast in his presence. It is from him that you are in Christ Jesus, who became wisdom from God for us — our righteousness, sanctification, and redemption, — in order that, as it is written: 'Let the one who boasts, boast in the Lord.'" (1 Cor. 1:27-31) "Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has passed away, and see, the new has come!" (2 Cor. 5:17)

If someone argues that a former promiscuous woman is "damaged goods" and questions whether a Christian young man should marry her, remember Rahab. She was a Canaanite prostitute but became a mother in the lineage of Jesus. God redeemed her, cleansed her, and Salmon married her.

@moneyxbags_ @jaraaxz They’re gonna freak when they realize that almost 70% of men start receding by 30, and a third will pretty much lose all their hair. It’s like the one thing you shouldn’t be vain about unless you’re 100% confident in your hairline genetics lol.

@j_5716 @BackupHangman I honestly agree and by that time I had mostly kept my viewing to ECW, but there also wasn’t a whole hell of a lot of difference between 99, 00 and 01. It was all the same type of entertainment. By 01 they had much better in-ring workers but they weren’t doing much with them yet.

Is there anything worse than a crying baby on a plane? I wish parents would control their children. It’s so disruptive. I refuse to believe a baby cries for 10 hours. At some point this is just bad parenting, right?

@somewheresy He’s being innovative. Kids are way more likely to retain information when the teacher uses their interests to explain a topic. If more teachers were like this, US education wouldn’t be where it is, aka the dumpster. Btw this is Portugal.

Weekends don’t exist once you’re in the burbs because kids dominate. It’s just time. Days don’t matter. However, 35 year olds who still live in the city, getting hammered at bars are just as confusing. Not that it doesn’t sound like fun, but your friends aren’t at the bar with you, they’re in the burbs at soccer practice, with me. So who are you getting hammered with?

@nickythegood Weekends absolutely exist. I’m taking my oldest son to the Knicks game on Sunday and to dinner before. That’s an awesome time. It’s a better existence than some 34 year old sadfuck meeting another sadfuck for drinks at a dying bar, then not hooking up because nobody’s fun anymore

@jedirich_ @CircaLasVegas Shit’s dead. If your argument is that it’s alive because crowds are cut in half and profits are made by increasing prices on a handful of rich people, great. But how is that a scalable business? And large scale events will be avoiding Vegas as long as this problem persists.

Vegas is “dead”… or did it finally grow up? First thing you hit at Circa? ID check. No kids. No strollers. No Clark Griswold dragging the family through a sportsbook asking where the buffet is. And what happens next? Wall-to-wall energy. Five straight minutes walking through—packed, loud, every game hitting, every reaction real. Sheldon Adelson said it years ago—“weed out the riffraff.” He raised the stakes, upgraded the shops, pushed Vegas up-market. Now Derek Stevens is doing it Downtown. Post-pandemic, Downtown turned into a magnet for cheap flights, bargain rooms, and people chasing the lowest-priced meal they could find. That’s why prices went up. The loss leaders got abused. The “Griswolds” came in looking to stretch a dollar across the entire trip—and the model broke. So what happened? They flipped it. Higher prices. Tighter entry. Better experience. Not to gouge— but to filter, to reset. As Shelly would say, “This is how you weed out the riffraff.”
