@dreamkid83 people worried about AI music need to just work harder on carving out their own identity

I’m genuinely not worried about AI taking over songwriting and music production. I never got into music just to get to the end result, I got into music because I like to transform feelings into sounds. I like to build the songs, I love seeing how a particular riff will interact with a certain bass line, I love the process, it’s exciting and the idea of just pushing a button to generate music in a game of digital song roulette doesn’t excite me at all. Imagine we watched movies but we only watched the last 10 minutes to see what happens at the end, imagine fast forwarding live sports games just to see if we win, there is no joy in that. That’s why I’m not phased, you can never take that process away from me. Others not genuinely passionate about creating can push their buttons for quick results but I’ll forever make music the way I always have.
