I’ve learned in life opportunities come when they come and it’s our choice to take them. I am blessed. Since the end of last year I have been blessed with a job at FDC and the opportunity to work on death row cases and learn a process I did not know much about. I have been so blessed to work with colleagues from my old law days that are forever family to me, and meet new friends. However, an opportunity arose that after much prayer and discussion with family I realized I had to take. Those of you who know me know my legal career (after being an assistant state attorney in the beginning) has been largely focused on civil law and complex litigation including class actions, antitrust violations, unfair and deceptive trade practices, and consumer litigation as a whole. That allowed me to apply my antitrust knowledge to NIL consultations as well. I have received an opportunity to work as an Assistant Attorney General at the Florida Attorney General’s office in their Antitrust Division. This job will consist of working with other states on cases and the US Attorneys office on antitrust cases and more. A dream job that I could not have envisioned having three years ago. I am extremely excited and look forward to the future. And I’m still downtown which I love (just a little to the west now 🙂).

For the record, the president of the United States is now simultaneously claiming that he has won the war, is currently winning the war, needs help to win the war, and needs no help to win the war. All to destroy the nuclear program he claims to have already destroyed last year.

Seven cops raided a rapper’s house looking for drugs and a kidnapping victim. Found neither. Filed no charges. Left behind a broken gate, busted doors, and one deputy eyeing a lemon pound cake in the fridge. Afroman had security cameras rolling the whole time. He turned the footage into diss tracks, music videos, and merch. Mocked the raid. Made money off it. The deputies sued him for $3.9 million. Defamation. Invasion of privacy. Emotional distress. Yesterday a jury of his peers ruled in his favor on all 13 counts. Zero damages. Case closed. He walked out of the courthouse in an American flag suit: “I didn’t win. America won.” They came for the lemon pound cake. They left with nothing. 🇺🇸
