Holding $SPY, $QQQ, $IGV, $SMH, and $MAGS doesn't mean you're diversified. These ETFs share massive overlapping holdings — when one drops, they all drop. Here's the insight most people miss: strategy diversification matters more than ticker diversification. Running different strategies on the same underlying with different strikes, expirations, and sizing = diversification. Holding 10 ETFs that all move together = a concentrated bet wearing a disguise.
