@Wolfgang18842 @HeinrichHyper Ancient athens was no democracy, just a bunch of rich pedophiles who occassionally called an ecclesia to decide which slaves they're gonna rape that day

@AustinHoney30 Plus that polling institution is just straight up lying. Everyone knows TISZA has a comfortable lead in the regional list

@Keplerian22b @StefanFrancisci @Alejandro_SocEU People can vote in Russia, China, North Korea and Belarus too, are those countries democratic? And every single party showing unwavering support to Israel, despite only 27% of the actual population supporting Israel, is a strong indicative of lobbying / blackmailing

The cordon sanitaire is probably the most counterproductive thing there is when it comes to fighting extremist forces, and more specifically the far right.

@Keplerian22b @StefanFrancisci @Alejandro_SocEU Half of german media is owned by a billionaire with AFD ties. Theres not a single party in the parliament who dares to oppose Israel. Peaceful pro Palestine protesters are beat up by police while fascists are left alone, but sure thats very democratic

Food and water are NOT human rights. You don’t have a right to anything that requires the labor of others. The word for that is slavery..

@Roli52231 @LilPota2 @NekoKirito7 @HaterOfFeds There's no "Will of the people." It's collectivist bullshit used to justify violations of everyone's rights just because the sheep were scared into agreement. You don't get to override my rights just because you have me outnumbered

NkoKirkto‽@NekoKirito7·
@Roli52231 It is quite literally irrelevant to me. It is the question if they had a legitmate claim on that land. That is taking resources out of nature and transforming them therefore homesteading it. Hunter gather can be that too to some extent if they did "low tech terra forming"

They tried to steal the land and give it to people who didn't earn it nor deserve it. Looters voting to loot does not justify this.
Roli5223@Roli52231

@NekoKirito7 @HaterOfFeds Its not unused, its stolen. From the people of those countries. Guatamela tried to legally and democratically redistribute the land back to the farmers, so they wouldnt starve, but guess what happened. USA bombed them.

@NekoKirito7 I dont know if they were hunter gatherer or subsistence farmers but I dont see how it matters. In the very leasr their lifestyle was sustainable for the environment, something which cannot be said about United Fruit

@NekoKirito7 Its complicated. The natives have lived their for generations but they didnt have any papers for it, so united fruit was able to buy it from some corrupted dictator for very cheap and kick them out. As we have previously established legal doesnt always mean right

@Roli52231 What does displacing mean in this context it is left vauge. If it is expropriating land yes. If it is buying then no

@NekoKirito7 taxes, thus the amount of money paid in compensations in the end was far less than the land itself was worth.
