It breaks my heart to see messages like this circulate. In Miami, our org is 95% Haitian—the rest are Afro-Puerto Rican, Afro-Cuban, and African American (me 🙆🏾‍♀️).. Historically, AA’s have stood in solidarity w/Haiti, from Frederick Douglass to the late Jesse Jackson. I hate that FBA🇺🇸 terminally online cult has attempted to monopolize my ethnicity to push anti-Haitianism. They do not speak for us. Many of us stand w/Haitians and oppose this fascistic regime targeting them and other racialized migrant communities. We’ll continue doing the political education necessary to build Black liberation rooted in solidarity across our communities. 🇭🇹❤️🔱🖤
