@aussieflya You're supposed to prefer the one on the right, but not sure why. I know the GPF is lower, but unless there is a bidet system (if it's like a solid Toto model or something) then from a comfort and usability perspective I prefer the classic portly Kohler on the left.

If you were buying a $2k+/sqf condo in NYC, which of these toilets would you prefer?

@aussieflya Yikes -- managed a project (my first) where there was a temptation to do this because the cabinets were part of an island with a bunch of wiring / access. Glad we didn't but think the misguided explanation is always along the lines of trying to preserve the flooring from work!

Found out today that folks install flooring after cabinets. Why?

@isaacfrench_ Man this is something I aspire to build soon! We're down in Austin. If you want to put premium motorized window shades in this, we just debuted a new fabric color "Limestone"!

I debated various tiles but chose rustic limestone to connect the interior and exterior. After hrs at stone yards & talking w masons, I found the perfect color / type. Each piece was chiseled to fit w the others to look dry stacked. It took 10 days. Israel did a fantastic job!
