From my understanding, and what has been reported, it seems Chelsea are set to buy Premier League-ready players, which isn't bad. But we are about to make another mistake, thinking that being Premier League-ready and Premier League-experienced at a midtable club translates to winning experience. I believe we also need a few experienced players who have been in title-winning dressing rooms and played major part. Especially since we have an inexperienced manager that doesn't have that experience. Even if it means taking free agents on short-term contracts, like Rudiger, Lewandowski, and Bernardo Silva, this is a different kind of need. Take one or two to give the dressing room a different kind of aura. They don't have to start every game; their role is different. I don't want to come here next season for more complaints. We can fix this squad in one window without spending a lot if we know what we are doing. The likes of van Hecke, Scott and Rogers are good but do they know what it takes to win titles? 🤔

It is worth noting that Kompany and Enrique both needed at least one full season to get their philosophies across. I don't even want to mention Guardiola's 16/17 season but he too validates the point I would be making here Enrique's second season after the learning phase saw PSG operate like a well oiled machine because they had a year's worth of experience playing his style Kompany's Bayern are arguably the best side in Europe right now after most people called for his head following their QF exit to Inter last season. Bayern dismissed those talks and acted proactively in the summer by supporting him with key experienced players in Tah to lead their defense and Diaz as their LW solution My point is, when a manager has a clear philosophy and is building a style that has no capped ceiling, it's best to give him time and financially back him in the market. Do with this information as you will.

@NurseLekan What’s the difference between Rodri and Tchouameni’s ball holding abilities? They need someone like Kimmich or Modric or Joao(PSG)

Madrid btw, their fans were saying they don’t need Rodri They actually matched Bayern to some point but they just can’t hold on to the ball when needed Jude introduction changed the game for them a bit though.

You people are really funny. Chelsea should lose to Man City just cuz Arsenal want to win the league? So we should be playing in the Conference League because of your hatred for Arsenal?

Chelsea doesn't have a single soul in their squad on the same caliber as Bernado Silva rn, why not sign him up on a free? And inject quality into your team? Rather they will choose to go spend £60m on one average bum when the window opens.

🚨💣 BREAKING: Bernardo Silva will LEAVE Manchester City in June as a free agent, as revealed last week. It’s now official as Bernardo informed the club, as #MCFC assistant coach Pep Lijnders confirms. Bernardo hopes to pick his new club before the World Cup.
