@JNay_LSS Is Baker's old contract the right way to frame this? Isn't a better question "What would Baker make if he signed a new contract today?" An old contract for a player on the upswing is a good deal, but that doesn't change the market the 49ers have to deal with.

This wasn't me selling you Baker is better than Brock, but rather Baker makes 33M AAV. Is the difference such that Brock should be paid 55M+?

@bradtem Does Waymo WANT to scale? I know lots of customers want Waymo to scale, but I don't recall the CEO saying a nationwide rollout is in the near-term plans.

@dannymoerkerke Passkeys are more confusing for normal users. In Chrome, passwords sync everywhere you have Chrome installed, Passkeys do not. They only sync within big-tech ecosystems, so iPhone -> Mac and Android -> Chrome OS. Normal people on Windows are screwed.

I don't see a way to sideload Chrome extensions into Firefox, so that doesn't sound like a great solution either. Chrome has a "load unpacked extension" feature that works great—you can just grab stuff off github.

Google Chrome is now showing an ominous "These extensions may soon no longer be supported" warning on the installed extensions page without any explanation whatsoever.
I'm assuming it's the manifest v2 deprecation, but Google's messaging here is horrible.
