@BarackObama You shouldn't be so hard on Joe. I'm sure at some point in his 60 years on the government payroll he tried to do the right thing. Just not in the last 30 years.

Bad debate nights happen. Trust me, I know. But this election is still a choice between someone who has fought for ordinary folks his entire life and someone who only cares about himself. Between someone who tells the truth; who knows right from wrong and will give it to the American people straight — and someone who lies through his teeth for his own benefit. Last night didn’t change that, and it’s why so much is at stake in November. joebiden.com

@joniernst "Give me the people who can stop this". Sounds like he's asking for another Trump administration

The Biden Administration has actively eliminated nearly every tool America has to secure the southern border.
Now he says “just give me the power.”

Biden on the border crisis: "I've done all I can do. Just give me the power. Give me the people who can stop this and make it work right.”

@robreiner If you haven't been watching the news, Biden's government is currently trying to imprison his biggest opponent.

@katiecouric It's also worth noting that less than 0.0033% of guns are used in murders. Please tell the gun control groups it's such a small number, it doesn't matter.
English

Worth noting that fewer than 1% of abortions occur in the third trimester. #GOPDebate

@Riley_Gaines_ Sorry to see you were treated this way. Any time people are unwilling to hear an opinion that differs from theirs, I assume they are wrong. Hang in there and do great things, whatever they are.
English

@POTUS How about you wait to brag until you have fully fixed what you broke....
English

@WalshFreedom Enough about Biden and the Dems. What do you think about the GOP?
English

It’s just too late. It’s too late to stop him. Even if they wanted to they no longer could. Their cowardice allowed him to grow too big & too strong. Because now it’s too late for them to win without him. He’d do way too much damage if they rejected him now. So their only hope is to continue to cling to him. It’s too late.

@davidmweissman Sworn testimony of a law enforcement officer isn't evidence??
English

@MickWest @ScottAdamsSays Apply your math using the crashes on the moon and Mars as the base.
English

@POTUS You forgot enforce current laws. And you don't even need Congress. You are the chief law enforcement official in the country. Make it happen.

@krassenstein I think people shouldn't be so stupid that a parody account is confused with their real account.
English

I fully respect the idea of having parody accounts on Twitter. It adds some light-hearted humor to the platform.
There is a problem in my mind though. Currently in order to tell that any account is a parody account, the username has to be clicked on. Hundreds of thousands of people are seeing these tweets thinking that they are associated with real people because they never click on the account name.
I feel that there needs to be some indication on the tweet itself that it is a parody account.
Thoughts?

@EdKrassen Did you remove them increase in deaths from fentanyl pouring over an open border and suicides from people being isolated for 1-2 years?

To all of the COVID death deniers who claim that COVID really wasn't that deadly and that it was just another case of the Flu, how do you explain the huge increase in death?
I understand that you might suggest that doctors and hospitals have attributed deaths caused by other factors to COVID-19.
But that doesn’t debunk actual death totals.
As we all know, the CDC reported the first laboratory-confirmed case of COVID-19 in January of 2020. After that it quickly spread and caused a massive amount of hospitalizations. Deaths reportedly caused by COVID peaked in January of 2021 (a year later).
Total deaths in the US were just 2.85 million in 2019, and 1.2% higher in 2018.
However, in 2020, deaths jumped all the way up to 3.36 million, and then jumped again to 3.4 million in 2021, before falling slightly in 2022 to 3.27 million.
How do you explain such a large increase in American deaths if COVID really wan’t responsible for killing people? I’d love to know your thoughts.

English

@RepSwalwell That word. I do not think it means what you think it means
English

@steve_vladeck Look at the rate of change from 14 to 17 & 20 to the end versus 17 to 20. It's almost as if something was different those 4 years.

Greg Abbott has been the Governor of Texas since January 20, 2015.

@EdKrassen Now think about how many kids lives would be saved with an abortion ban. Hundreds of thousands a year..... Are you on board? Or, are you willing to sacrifice those kids?

As the left calls for more laws on gun purchases, Republicans like Greg Abbott offer their thoughts and prayers yet again. Many on the right claim that almost any law Democrats want to create would violate the 2nd Amendment. Let’s discuss.
The Second Amendment does in fact protect gun ownership, but let's examine what has been done in the past.
In 1934, because of the fact that short-barreled shotguns, machine guns and silencers were deemed to be a threat to public safety, they were banned unless you go through a specific process. This was part of the National Firearms Act.
For the last 90 years it has been much more difficult to buy a short-barreled shotgun. First you need to fill out an ATF Form 4, then you need to pay a $200 tax along with providing your fingerprints, and then you must wait between 200 days and over a year to get approved for the purchase.
Do you know who supported this pseudo-ban on short-barreled rifles in 1934?
THE NRA!
So my argument is that if Short-barreled shotguns, Machine guns, and short-barreled rifles can be highly restricted and tracked, then so too can other guns which Congress deems to be a threat to public safety -- most notably AR-15 style firearms.
If this were really a violation of 2A, then you would think that it would have been overturned in the past 90 years, right?
I'm all for protecting our 2nd Amendment. So let's talk common sense. Of course restrictions like this won't prevent every mass shooting, but if it can save 1 child's life, isn't it worth it? Honestly?

English

@AOC What you're saying is that the mental health crisis is causing a lot of deaths and Congress should act???
English

@StephenKing Like arrest people that lie on their ATF 4473? Like prosecute criminals?? People don't usually commit murder as their first crime.
