The eve of the Canadian Olympic and Paralympic track and field trials. Five days of competition begins here in Montreal tomorrow. Our @cbcsports team will have extensive coverage each day, including @anastasure and I providing daily recaps from the event.

Went to 1608 bar at @FairmontFronten a few mins. after it opened. Waited almost 5 mins. for a hostess to acknowledge me…only to be told I could put my name on a wait list. A wait list? The bar is empty. “We just opened so we can’t seat everyone at the same time.” Walked out.
