Why are you even asking this question? You wouldn't believe it anyway. And Christians must believe in all of the Scripture, not just in what Jesus said. Even your Quran agrees that you cannot just pick and choose which parts of your holy book you follow. So, what is the question for?

The statements from the Quran that Muslims bring up over and over to justify the hadith can all be much more plausibly understood as commands for Muslims during Mohammed’s lifetime: - Follow Mohammed (for example in battle) - Obey Mohammed (during his lifetime, as the leader of the ummah) - Take whatever he gives you (like booty after battle under his rule as a military leader) - Make him judge between you (as the ruler of the ummah in his lifetime) - Mohammed does not speak by his own inclination (The Quran is supposedly from Allah, and not Mohammed’s fabrication) NO ONE would just read these verses and conclude from it that there must be these Hadith collections to interpret the Quran and practice the religion. While on the other hand, when Jesus says "Before Abraham was, I am" or "I am the First and the Last, the Alpha and the Omega" or "I and the Father are one" or "If you have seen me, you have seen the Father" or "everyone must honor the Son just as they honor the Father" etc., then the necessary conclusion is that He claims to be God. And even more because the Bible says over and over about Jesus that He is God. So, Christians actually find their religion in their holy book. But Muslims don't.

So many false information and logical fallacies. 1. Yes, follow Jesus or be an unbeliever, because if you follow Jesus you also follow the previous scriptures. You do not have to choose between following Jesus OR the already existing scriptures, like in Islam. To follow a man that contradicts the already revealed words of God is disbelief. You Muslims do what is forbidden - follow a man instead of God. Trusting in him and claiming the previous scriptures must have been corrupted in wild and absurd conspiracies, to justify your kufr. 2. The whole New Testament was written within 60 years after Jesus’ crucifixion. 3. How do you know what language Jesus spoke, what he said on the cross etc.? Because the Bible says it? The same Bible that says He is God? The same Bible that says Christianity is true and Islam is false? This is your prooftext? Cherry-picking and circular reasoning. 4. How can God punish others for your sins? The Bible gives the answer. The whole sacrifice system of the Old Testament is based on this principle. And you will show me from your holy book the clearest statements that you shall write down thousands of hadiths, use them to interpret the Quran, and make a Sunnah.
