@passportsevamea Instead, the officer placed my file "On Hold" with the remark "bring mc or annex j," forcing me to return on May 19, 2026. ​This 15-day delay is a significant burden. It clashes with my son's upcoming 3rd birthday and our pre-planned family commitments.

@passportsevamea Most importantly, the officer never mentioned the option of signing a self-declaration (Annexure K/J) while I was at the counter. Had this option been provided, the matter could have been settled immediately, as my spouse was physically present outside the building.
