In a closed bay of 4, HFNT at 60L and 50% leak (akin to one prong out, mouth closed), at FiO2 0.9, and air change rate of 2.5/hr, steady state ambient [O2] (should be approx) 24.07% by 4hours. Based on a few assumptions!!

With hospital dedicated vents (V60), oxygen demand is low, varying with insp flow, peep, FiO2, leak. Domiciliary device O2 demand depends on flow provided. Ventura demands approx 20l/Min FiO2 O.6, peep 10, resp rate 30 (with titration)

Great to see our @uclh Covid Follow Up Clinic on BBC news at 6! Some brilliant, innovative clinicians talking to Sir Simon and @BBCFergusWalsh including Mel, Toby and Rebecca. They started that service from a van outside the hospital and have helped nearly 1000 people since!
