Second ever half-marathon (21km). 1 hour, 59 minutes, 56 seconds. Brutal. Does anyone actually enjoy this, or are runners a particular class of sadists?

@Dudakov_Lab If you think the situation is bad in Seattle, take a look at the numbers in Belgium... looks like our politicians don’t understand exponential growth: they are still hoping for a miraculous improvement before deciding to lock down... :-(

Oh, and for the non-believers, this is why they can truly open up...

When Melbourne/Victoria went into lock-down it had about the same case count (~700/day) as Seattle/Washington. Just shows what can be done if we decided to actually do something!

After more than two years of planning, I am inordinately excited for the weekend when Dudakov Lab v2.0 launches at the exquisite new (old?) Steamplant building @fredhutch (with amazing new neighbors @headleylab @EvNewell1 @raphg @sriv4000).

Thank you for all your great work, @TaylaOlsen. We are looking forward to watching your scientific successes at @MCBSeattle.
