@Jason It’s an oversimplified version, not really like that. Also I’d say if you were unaware of Rolex and how they operate you may be over your head buying a watch like that. Take your time, check out vintage or neo vintage Rolex. Cartier has some amazing new watches this year.

Never mind about the Rolex… had no idea buying one was like buying a Ferrari, where you have to beg, jump though hoops and then buy products you don’t want to get the one you do want! 😂
thought it would be fun to own, but would much prefer to just order something on a website (like a Tesla!) and be done with it.
These retail and reseller channels make things far too time consuming
Is there a nice watch I can just… order?

I would like to purchase this @ROLEX

@JeffBezos Yes you don’t want to end up like Canada, people aren’t doing so good.

Yes, the United States has the most progressive tax system in the world. The top 1% pay 40% of taxes, the bottom 50% pay 3% of taxes. We can make it even more progressive by zeroing out taxes on the bottom half. It’s a small amount of the total tax revenue but very meaningful to people in this group.

Jeff Bezos said the bottom half of Americans should pay zero federal income tax. He cited a nurse in Queens making ~$75K and paying ~$12K in taxes saying “we shouldn’t be asking this nurse in Queens to send money to Washington.”

It’s nuts how in almost every car this is faster than just giving us a usb-c port that can adequately charge a laptop.
cars alternator makes AC snd converts to DC
The inverter then converts to AC for the outlet
The MacBook adaptor then turns it into DC so the computer and battery can handle it

Uber should have a filter for “Has a power outlet so your AI Agents can keep cooking”

Reached my goal of $1.5M. Starting to liquidate and moving to cash.
1. I think the market is too high. Reached a very high YTD as seen below.
2. Makes it easy when doing the departure taxes when I move out.
PS. Still keeping retirement accounts fully invested for growth.

If the bank was willing to lend you $10M @7% against collateral (land specifically), and the terms were 10 years with a payment of $120k a month, would you do it?
Selling OTM puts generates $300k a month pretty consistently.
What say you?
We could pay back $150k/mo and shave 3 years off the note and save over $1M in interest.
This is a move we are seriously pondering.

@DeepValueBagger I said trailing not take half, just kidding, nice work.
