I just realized I’m only eight followers away from hitting 5,000 on my other page @GrowingUpRetro
Thank you for your support and your love for everything retro.
If you can help give me that last little boost to reach this milestone, I’d truly appreciate it!

Before we get into today’s festivities let’s take a moment of silence for all those we’ve lost. Let’s honor those who fought for us and our country today and everyday. Happy #MemorialDay everyone, God bless.

Memorial Day Fallen Hero Bravery. Hero defined.
Remember Alwyn C. Cashe
SFC Alwyn Cashe’s Bradley Fighting Vehicle was struck by an IED and enemy fire, erupting in flames. Despite suffering severe burns, Cashe repeatedly entered the burning vehicle under enemy fire to rescue six fellow soldiers. Refusing evacuation until all wounded were treated, his courage and selflessness embodied the highest traditions of the U.S. Army
SFC Alwyn Cashe passed on in November of 2008 from wounds sustained after rescuing fellow soldiers from a burning vehicle in Iraq. 🫡 🇺🇸

Good Morning from Georgia 🍑
Christ is King!
This Memorial Day, I pause to remember my beloved Dad—a proud Vietnam veteran who answered the call to serve with courage and honor. He fought for freedom, loved his family fiercely, and lived his life with quiet strength rooted in faith. Three years ago, God called him home, but his legacy of sacrifice and love lives on in our hearts forever. 💔🇺🇸
Dad, thank you for your service and for being the greatest hero I’ve ever known. I miss your voice, your wisdom, and your hugs more than words can say. Until we meet again in glory…
“Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.” — John 15:13
We remember and honor all who served and those who made the ultimate sacrifice. 🫡 🇺🇸
Let’s go 🇺🇸
