yeah its rough...i'm so glad gunn at least seems interested in their relationship...the movie was what got me into clex after all, and now we're getting mot too 🥹 i also agree that modern stories haven't been able to hit the spot. i thought Superman (2023) was decent, up until the point where Lex lost his memories. But I didn't LOVE it and I can't really explain why..ugh

Being a clex shipper is not for the faint of heart because DC actively did everything it could to sabotage us for decades. Smallville and Mark Waid were our saviors in the early 2000s, bringing clex to the masses when main canon wouldn’t.
