Kenya sets sight on 2027 for the completion and connection of TAH section 4. If Kenya completes the construction of Isiolo–Mandera Road Project by 2027 as planned, Kenya will have connected her section of of Trans African Highways. The 750km stretch is estimated at ksh 100 billion ($770m). The road will connect Kenya to Ethiopia through the border of Rhamu and Somalia at Mandera with Mogadishu expected to pick it from there. South Sudan to be connected to TAH through LAPSSET and DESSU corridors. (Andrew Akech)

Genzs don’t know about this 40 shilling coin, famously called “Ki-Lucy.” This coin, which featured the late President Mwai Kibaki, was issued in 2003 to commemorate 40 years of Kenya’s independence. The coin was later phased out in line with the 2010 Constitution, which ‘banned’ the use of portraits of individuals on Kenyan currency. I am sure it’s now a collectible. Probably selling above its face value.
