@CWLemoine @KiwaSpotter Well they are a two ship demo which the Super Hornet demo is not, that's about it though.

@KiwaSpotter What does a Growler demo team do that is A) Demonstrating its actual mission and/or B) Better than the Super Hornet demo?

The amount of people on this website complaining about the existence of the Growler demo team… 🙄

@SPADtm performance issues. Other than that, I think the game is fine, everything else is minor, unless I'm forgetting something. I do want to try it on console again too, that will be where all the fun stuff is lol

@SPADtm I'm basically doing that, I have played it a few times over the last 1.5 years but only to play one or two missions at a time. My last full playthrough was a VR one I did in December of 2024. Off the top of my head I only remember what I mentioned here, clouds looking bad and VR

I played Project Wingman earlier just to be reminded how annoying it is now with how both allied and enemy NPCs are bugged and will fire missiles nonstop until they kill their targets, and I don't like that I've been waiting a year and a half for a fix with none in sight.

I'm surprised no one has been saying anything about this, it's been bugging me since I recorded my VR YouTube playthrough back in December 2024 Honestly I'm just considering downgrading from update 2.0 to 1.0.4.

It's annoying when allies steal your kills every 20 seconds, especially since you only get like 25% of the points from their kills, and the game's difficulty feels really artifical and fake now since it's just from a handful of fighters shooting 10 missiles each at you now.

Good illustration of ejection seat technology: Look at where the rockets on the seats fire. Both jets are inverted when the ejection is initiated, so the seat should fire the pilots straight at the ground… But they are smart. They fire enough to clear the jet, then re-orient themselves & fire enough to slow the descent. Once they do, the seats cut the occupants loose from the straps & deploy the parachute. Look where the parachutes deploy in relation to the jets. Absolutely incredible technology!
