@RoolaThumb No it isn’t, it’s a PC. It can be a gaming device in addition to a PC, but it’s a PC. You can buy a car for the intent purpose of doing something other than driving it, but it’s still a car, and can do car things.

The steam machine is a gaming device, it is completely irrelevant to keep bringing up the fact that it is a PC and does PC things.. the price of it doesn’t justify what it does gaming wise, simple as that!

@RoolaThumb @kRedirector I do not have any (or any other option for) 6" PC that doesn't have the drawbacks of a handled like the Steam Deck or laptops
If you want something ULTRA portable, there is no better choice, either in consoles (Unless you get a gamecube) nor in tower PCs

@RoolaThumb They act like the casual consumers it's marketed towards who specifically want one for a plug-n-play PC experience are going to install windows or other apps on it and use it as a PC.
It's basically a console because nobody is going to do that.

I remember trying to tell people how exclusives are important to the console ecosystem, and people said it was anti consumer.
Within the same year, both Sony and Microsoft have gone back to focusing on exclusivity.
