Inflation is not the magical increase in general prices. It is the increase in money supply chasing the same number of goods, making your dollar worth less compared to goods.

The only reason Europeans want the USA to stay in NATO is because they would all have to double their defense spending if the USA withdraws it's troops.
They would have to slash their generous welfare spending on health care and early retirement pensions.
They wouldn't be able to afford all of the free stuff they give to the millions of fake refugees.

When I worked in public schools they constantly talked about “closing the achievement gap.” They forgot to mention that Black homeschool students score 23-42% above Black public school students across all standardized tests. In fact, the gap between Black public school students and Black home school students is the greatest achievement gap in America education. I wonder why they never talk about it.

There are two dangerous trails to avoid as a Christian looking for a home:
1) A church with too many traditions and practices
2) A church with too few.
Tradition and religious practice are imperative to the Christian life, but we must be careful not to add to biblical prescriptions, nor should we ignore it or the wisdom of our forebears.

The real estate market is broken with mortgage rates above 6%.
I was looking at houses and moving ... but when you do the math, it is crazy to give up my 3.9% mortgage and move to another area and do a 6.3% mortgage.
But then if I wait until rates are back near 4%, house prices will likely skyrocket with cheaper money. Tough decision ...

Our economy needs over 20 million bpd to keep humming.
We don't really have extra oil available to export.
We do have LNG that we can export.
But not oil.
