🎉 ROPDB Update 🎉 We are proud to announce that ROPDB has officially received its Compliance Certificate from the Rwanda Governance Board (RGB), confirming full compliance with the new NGO law in Rwanda. This milestone advance the rights of persons with deaf-blindness.

“Rwanda has learnt from experience that unregulated civic spaces create briefcase NGOs that emerge when funding is available, lack governance and have a little impact on citizens.” Dr Doris Uwicyeza, the CEO of the Rwanda Governance Board on requirements for an NGO to operate in Rwanda and regulating their operations. She made the remarks during the Rwanda review in the 51st session of Universal Periodic Review. #RBANews
