@Hugh65911292 @nashthomas Yeah mate, that's my route. It's constantly overloaded during rush hour, many people get skipped (sometimes multiple times) and have to wait for the next bus, that's even with it coming every 7 minutes

The articulated bus we’ve borrowed from Auckland is here for the road test on the number 2 route. This bus does school runs hence the school holidays timing! Sensors are fitted at front and back so we can track bus movements to the centimetre and precisely design the road layout.

This is crazy. @DrewPavlou is being prosecuted by Australian authorities for holding a sign saying “F..k Xi Jinping” but the Chinese ultranationalists who physically attacked him (seen in the video) are getting off scott free.

@resolutemaybe @UprisingGym I find it's worse at the intersections where the picture was taken. When people are making a right turn they are impatient because they're holding up traffic behind them, so they accelerate really quickly unaware of incoming cyclists - I almost got hit there the other day

@Roro_tf @UprisingGym Excellent, props to Uprising and I shall continue to mildly glare at people who sit their car on the cycle lane and footpath instead of in the carpark or on the road while they wait for a gap at the entrance and exit

I actually have much more trouble in this stretch with the clientele of @UprisingGym do you guys have any signage to remind users that cyclists and pedestrians have priority across your vehicle crossings? Say yes and I'll sign up for your yoga classes 😄

@rephraser @AklBikes 4 years ago I felt the same way about intersections like this one in Ōtautahi - I believed the cars and trucks in the area would ignore the cycle lane or try to beat cyclists across the intersection because we ride on a separated cycleway most of the length - but so far, so good
