@CraigNorenbergs @SquidgeRugby @MilesHarrisonTV @SkySports I don’t think anyone was including Miles in the criticism of the commentary. For what it’s worth, as a punter, I would choose Miles over any other rugby commentator every day, with Ali Ekeyn as back up.

Having worked everywhere like some traveling media minstrel... including with @MilesHarrisonTV at @SkySports ... I think he's the best rugby commentator I've worked with. Great prep, knowledge and... this is important.. a great bloke. Ask any producer... that last point is vital.

Commentary on this game is basically Miles Harrison getting really excited about how great the game is then Goode & Dallagilo tediously complaining about innocuous refereeing decisions and it pretty neatly sums up what rugby discourse & discussion has become the last few years.

@FromLe2 I literally breathed a sigh of relief every time I saw his name on the team sheet. Quietly reliable and effective, giving his everything to the club. Who could possibly deny him the right to go home and raise his family amongst his own culture.

Legend is a word overused in sport, but Hanro fully fits the brief of being a Tigers legend. Don’t think I remember him having a bad game, league winner & try scorer in the final & a constant throughout 7 years. He’ll be missed, but the pleasure was all ours to watch him.
