Cracking side this, nice to see the internationals back, with rewards being given to those who went well in the Prem Cup. That injury to Reffell sounds horrendous, horrific stuff. Plenty of quality players on the injured list too. Need them back soon. Big game, come on Tigers!!

@spkeene All 3 injured sadly with Tommy out for 8 weeks, from his throat injury. The list of injured players is A) long and B) full of very good players

@BSLBPodcast @lee1978lcfc I hate to go all conspiracy theory here, but can any of us truly believe the club are playing with a straight bat on anything atm? Stinks of a price increase being justified on this mysterious “fans request”.

Today, I remember the loss of my inspirational little angel, Amelia. After 19 yrs the pain never eases, you only learn how to handle it. Neuroblastoma is a cruel and aggressive childhood cancer, please support @NeuroblastomaUK and hopefully less families will go through that pain

Billy Searle got 20 1st half pts in Sunday's final only the 6th player and 7th instance of such a haul before the break in @LeicesterTigers history. The record is 24 by Andy Goode v Rotherham in 04. Tim Stimpson got 23 v Newcastle in 02. 20 by Stransky (twice), Twelvetrees & Ford

Training Ground Tuesday. Matt Elliott (with hair!?) and a couple of his Leicester City teammates look on as management team Dave Bassett and Micky Adams have a row about who's really in charge (citation needed). #LCFC

I was doing a crossword in the pub & said to my Scottish mate, "I'm stuck on this one: Trapped on a desert island, eight letters, starting with M." He said, "It’s Marooned." I said, "Oh ok, I'll have a gin & tonic then please!"

The Liam Livingstone interview is quite damning and makes you wonder how many other players have received similar treatment in the McCullum/Key era.

A nice reminder here for anyone whinging about our team selections, that we’ve utilised the entire squad all the way through. Extremely young sides went up to Newcastle & down to Quins & came back with the W. Youngsters have been used throughout by us, we’ve been spot on.
BBC Sport Leicester@BBCRLSport

🏆🐯A first piece of silverware in his first season for Geoff Parling. The Leicester Tigers Head Coach says he's used "50 players across the PREM Rugby Cup including 20 under-23 players" to utilise the squad.

@CharlieFelix I don’t want to be “elitist” but the claim professed by many that England should have just played out the final phases in their half, separates the people that know and the people that don’t know, you know?

Spencer was superb, but Van Poortvliet came on with France leading 38-32 and was integral to England's (excellent) seventh try. On his kick at the end, England weren't keeping possession for two minutes just outside their own 22. Right decision, let down by chase.
Charlie Morgan@CharlieFelix

Deepish dive into England’s attacking performance in Paris, which was excellent but left questions for the future. 👀 Open-minded on kick-return 6️⃣ Lineout weaponised again ⚡️ Scrum halves zig-zagging ♻️ Far better multi-phase thetimes.com/sport/rugby-un…

NOT ONE of these #Manosphere saddos has ever gone down the pub and had a pint. None of them have ever successfully flipped a beer mat and caught it. None of them have ever got the fruity to pay-out This alone disqualifies them from talking about masculinity. Fucking soft lads…

This is a genuinely brilliant feel-good story & well worth your time to read it. Well done that person at @LeicesterTigers whoever it was. Simply incredible kindness.

I spoke to a homeless chap outside of @LeicesterTigers today, who explained that he always begs on a match day. Last week a man bought him coffee then wheeled him into stadium hospitality, fed him, bought him some clobber and made him felt seen. Turns out it was a team member…

@BathBytes @premrugby Looking at the selections across all the teams, they look a lot stronger compared to previous years, with a better mix of youngsters, fringe players and senior boys keeping their eye in. Whilst I liked having the champ clubs in, I’ve enjoyed the games more this season

@FromLe2 @premrugby Because last year you had the Champ clubs involved and it seemed to have more about it. *I did and have been questioning the tournament for a few seasons now

The @premrugby Cup really is a mess. It's become a farce with no set formula and no understanding of what it is. It's there to make money for the clubs but as a competition, it's lost its way, fans won't watch and the media have no interest. Time to set out a proper blueprint
