The Supreme Court ruled it’s unconstitutional to convict people by non-unanimous juries, a practice rooted in racism, but decided to deny relief to those convicted in the past. Oregon AG Rosenblum fought for this result. But she can still make it right. oregonlive.com/pacific-northw…

In Oregon, people are still imprisoned by unconstitutional non-unanimous juries. Attorney General Rosenblum @ORDOJ is opposing petitions for relief, blocking new trials. This week a coalition of over 40 organizations came forward to end this injustice. portlandmercury.com/blogtown/2021/…

Every juror's vote is supposed to matter. But the KKK helped pass a law in Oregon to silence only certain juror's voices. So they could convict whoever they wanted. The Supreme Court finally struck this law down. But people are still imprisoned by it.
