Most of Europe is hugely more tolerant. In other parts of the world the driving standards may be lower but they lack the absurd tribal animosity.

If you saw us on the street, you probably wouldn't pass within 2 ms, why do it when we are on our bicycles and you, in your death machines? I doubt you'd swear, shout abuse or make vile hand actions either. I'm still a human when I'm on my bike. So is becca. So are all cyclists.

@PeterFifield Increased congestion leading to an 8% increase in journey time cited as cause. Pretty shocking to read if interpreted as cars defeating public transport in/to our capital city. Especially with another above inflation rise in train fares. :(
