@Laurenbdavis I am so sorry Lauren. The pain is real as dogs are family and are always there for you and know when you need them. There is no purer love than a dogs love. I have 2 older dogs and am dreading this day. My heart breaks for you and Ron. Bailey was a lucky guy to have you.

My husband & I held our #dog Bailey in our arms for the last time yesterday. His suffering is over, but I feel like my chest has been ripped open. I love Bailey as much as any human. I'm told I'll survive this excruciating agony, but it sure doesn't feel like it #BestBoy
