Why is it so hard to lose feelings for someone you were once so close with?

@N1NEVEH I have done that. It makes sense to remove remainders of the person you once love but I still get glimpses of her from memory here and there. Thank you for the advice tho, it means alot!

What Aquu said. However, what has helped me in the past is deleting everything. Even if some of those memories are good, they can still bring up a lot of feelings and trigger thoughts throughout your day. Removing those things can help create a bit more space in your mind. I’m not sure if you’ve tried that yet, but it might be something worth considering 🤍
