This isn’t about apportioning blames, but the truth needed to be told Arteta cost us this game. We all knew that the team team needed an outlet having been under tremendous pressure from @ManCity but he did absolutely nothing until we were 2:0 down. That’s a dereliction of duty, am sorry but he absolutely bottled this final and it’s shameful and utterly pathetic. #ARSMCI

Let me put it like this. I run a business with 30 people who work for me and at no point would I put a sub level staff member into the role of one of my top managers just to give him experience time, especially on a crunch day or a deadline that is just mismanagement

I argued all week Raya should start and it’s not about doing the ‘I told you so’ thing. It’s very simple, one of our goalkeepers is far superior to the other. City hadn’t created much prior to the error. Possession yes, nothing more though. The focus will be on the keeper but the overall performance was nowhere near good enough from start to finish. So, so lacklustre.

@Danarsenal87 and the fucking irony of this is the Arteta played Kapa so that it wouldn’t effectively destroy his mental confidence as a backup for the rest of the season, and in reality now the fans are pissed at him and he can’t play anyway now. Absolute disaster.
